Acceptance

By installing or using Zee Mail you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Your use is also governed by your organization’s internal rules and information-security policy; where they differ, your organization’s rules prevail.

Licence

ZeeDev grants you a licence to install and use the app on devices you own or that your organization manages, to access your own mailbox. You may not redistribute or resell the app, tamper with or reverse-engineer its code (except where the law allows), or remove copyright notices.

The app uses open-source libraries under their own licences; the list is in the app (About › Open-source licenses).

Accounts and sign-in

Zee Mail uses your email account on your organization’s server. We do not create, issue or administer email accounts. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for all activity on your account.

Acceptable use

Use the app only for work your organization permits and follow every rule it applies. Do not use it to send unauthorized bulk mail, impersonate others, or access mailboxes you are not authorized to open.

Content

Your mail, calendar and contacts are governed by your organization. The app only displays and sends content at your request; we have no ability to read it.

Availability

Some features depend on your organization’s server configuration (for example SSO sign-in, the company directory, free/busy lookup and session lifetime). The app does not yet offer instant push notifications: new mail is checked periodically. The Android, iOS, macOS and Linux versions are in testing or development and may change.

Ads and Remove ads

• The mobile app shows one small ad at the top of the Inbox, served by Google AdMob and non-personalized (see the Privacy Policy, section 7). Accounts on the @vnpt.vn domain see no ads.
• Remove ads is a one-time purchase (not a subscription) through Google Play or the App Store. It covers every account on the device and other devices using the same store account. The price shown in the app comes from your store.
• Payment, receipts and refunds are handled by the store under Google Play’s or Apple’s policies. A refunded purchase stops being valid and ads come back.
• On a new device or after reinstalling, use “Restore purchase” in Settings › Remove ads.
• Remove ads unlocks no other features and does not affect your mailbox or data.

Warranty and liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it is error-free, uninterrupted or fit for any particular purpose. Our liability is limited to what you paid for the app (nothing, if you paid nothing). We are not liable for data loss on your organization’s server.

Trademarks

Zee Mail is an independent product and is not owned by, sponsored by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Synacor, Inc. Zimbra is a trademark of Synacor, Inc.; the name is used only to describe compatibility.
